VASAD-FACILITIES.

Vasad has got three deep wells, two water works and two huge water tanks, which were established on 1-8-1954. These make a group of perennial water supply for Vasad which are made to function by Vasad Gram Panchayat. From 1956 onwards, Vasad is possessing advanced drainage and gutter system.

There are more than five banks inVasad inspite of the small population. Also there are four petrol pumps in Vasad. Lots of religious places pertaining to every major religion are present to satisfy the spiritual need of people.

Today each and every house in Vasad possesses at least one two-wheel motor vehicle and there are 200 personal as well as 100 hireable four wheeler vehicles in Vasad. Hey!! we forgot about the autos!! There are at least one hundred auto rickshaws in Vasad facilitating easy and economical transportation.

Regarding technology, Vasad is not even a bit behind from the age. There are full fledged computer entertainment centers, fully computerised equipments as weigh bridges as well as commercial cyber cafes.

Police station is established in the old District bunglow. Various banks like Bank of Baroda(from 19-12-1964), Kheda district secondary co-operative bank, etc. are offering their services to Vasad. Also, banks like Charotar Nagrik bank, nationalised State Bank of Saurashtra, Sardargung Mercantile Bank including various private financing firms makes the arterial system of Vasad economy.

Today the development of Vasad is not bounded at all. Residences are developing outside the town premises and thereby, redefining the town boundaries. And still these horizons are continously expanding.
On the National Highway no. 8, at a place called "Patel Vadi" and "Patel Park", receptions are held for newly married couples, forming a tradition for the place. Each and Every requirement needed for the procedure of marriage in Hindu religion are provided by the place.

From 1967 onwards Jivabhai Keshavbhai Health Centre is active in Vasad. Moreover there are four private clinics and dispensaries strengthening medical setup of Vasad. Library was established by Gram Panchayat, long back in 1940 A.D., before independence of our India.
